The inaugural meeting of the Greenville Social Media Club, headed up by Trey Pennington of ShowCase Marketing, was held on January 11, 2009 at Soby’s on South Main Street in Downtown Greenville. The guest speaker was Geno Church, a word-of-mouth-marketing pioneer.
