Thank you.

Yep, Shel Israel is a reliable icon in the world of effective communications. I don't think Shel's Twitterville was out when I put this list together.

It'll be a while before I get around to reading Twitterville. I'm taking a a rest from reading social media books. Instead, I'm focusing on some old, tested-and-tried books from days gone by.

Nice List. I'm going to have to go through this later and look for B2B stuff. What about "Twitterville" by Shel Israel?

Hi

This is a great compilation. One question I had was: Which of these books provide detail on what kinds of companies or products benefit the most from social marketing? I am looking to see if the applicability is uniform throughout or are there specific areas that can derive more value.

Regards
Sridhar

Thank you for reading/commenting.

Thank you to Giles for your post: http://norexpr.com/?p=25 You made me recall a great tactic for folks wanting to engage on social media: 1) definitely watch the @mentions, and 2) set up a real-time Twitter search on one's full name. I caught your reply to Chris Brogan, not through the @mentions but through the real-time search. Without that search, I would have missed your note, and missed the opportunity to connect with you.

You recommended some good books. Thanks.
