#smBBQ
The other evening we were tweeting on Twitter. Not sure who started it, but somebody said something about BBQ. Twitter lit up. By unanimous consent, folks agreed 1. BBQ is the ultimate social food and 2. we should all get together and have some. We (Amy Howell and I) are working on the details for the first of what looks like THREE #smBBQ tours.
The first one will be modest (we’re thinking Kansas City and St. Louis). The second one might take us from Memphis to Little Rock to Fort Worth (and we’d love to get to Austin somehow). The third will be a Carolina BBQ tour.
Right now we’re looking at the first week of October, 2010 and planning to start in Kansas City. There’s a lot of planning to do. For now, if you want to stay in-the-loop, please opt-in to our mailing list and we’ll make sure you don’t miss anything.

MMMmmmm. I love love love bbq. Could eat it everyday. (Might wanna watch the fridge at nite, because it makes an awesome midnight snack too!)
You are SO right! You know, we'll be doing a Carolina BBQ road trip, too?
As an NC girl, I would recommend a 2 stop carolina tour as we have 2 VERY different BBQ styles: eastern and western.
So you'll have to go to the NC coast and the NC mountains
(tough job, but somebody's gotta do it! LOL:)
Oh my. That sounds wonderful. And then we'll need a couple stops in SOUTH
Carolina, too. Totally different BBQ here, too.
